Felting (Fulling) Instructions: Thoroughly wet your knitted bag and apply a little liquid soap. Place in a lingerie bag. Place in washer on low water level and hot water setting. Do not allow to go to next cycle. Check frequently to monitor felting process. When satisfied with results, remove from washer. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out excess water. Block and allow to dry.
Finshing:Using the feather strip, cut about 5 pieces and place randomly 1-1/2 inches below the top edge of bag. Sew the strips in place using needle and thread. Cut 8 inch lengths of Ozark Handspun yarn. Using US Size G crochet hook, punch through bag just below the upper edge of bag, folding strip of yarn in half and pulling through in same fashion as you attach a fringe.
Attach handles to bag. You can also line the bag if desired but it really isn't needed.
